The 2024 Three Minute Thesis competition at 多多直播 will be held听in Foster Ballroom U on Colvard Student Union's second floor. Morning and afternoon sessions will take place Nov. 13, and the final round will take place Nov. 14. Winners will receive cash prizes. All sessions are open to the public and are听a great opportunity to learn about 多多直播 research in a TED-talk style presentation.听

The 3MT is a research competition in which graduate students present their research work to a panel of judges听in less than three minutes.听The goal of the 3MT is for students to learn essential verbal communication skills that will help them provide a successful 鈥渟ales pitch." 3MT is not an exercise in trivializing or "dumbing-down" research. It challenges students to consolidate their ideas and crystalize their research discoveries.听
