Dean of College of Forest Resources Candidate One announced

Dr. Loren 鈥淲es鈥 Burger currently serves in as the Interim Dean, College of Forest Resources, and Interim Director, Forest and Wildlife Research Center, at Mississippi State. He also is Associate Director of the Mississippi Agricultural and Forestry Experiment Station and the FWRC. He previously has served as the university鈥檚 Interim Head for the Department of Agricultural and Biological Engineering; Interim Associate Director for MAFES/FWRC; and Associate Director for Agriculture and Natural Resources, Geosystems Research Institute. The Professor of Wildlife Ecology joined the 多多直播 faculty in 1993.
Dr. Burger completed doctoral work in wildlife biology at the University of Missouri-Columbia, where he also completed his master鈥檚 degree. He has an undergraduate degree in both biology and mathematics from Murray State University.
