Grammy-nominated Ingrid Andress adds country music to 多多直播鈥檚 Bulldog Bash lineup

STARKVILLE, Miss.鈥擣our-time Grammy Award nominee Ingrid Andress will bring country music to Mississippi State鈥檚 Bulldog Bash mainstage as supporting act on Oct. 20.
Since the singer-songwriter鈥檚 debut in 2020, Andress has dominated the country music charts with songs like platinum-certified, No. 1 hit 鈥淲ishful Drinking鈥 with Sam Hunt and multi-platinum, No. 1 radio single 鈥淢ore Hearts Than Mine.鈥 Her Grammy nominations include鈥擝est Country Album for her debut 鈥淟ady Like,鈥 Best Country Song for 鈥淢ore Hearts Than Mine,鈥 Best Country Duo/Group for 鈥淲ishful Drinking鈥 with Sam Hunt, and Best New Artist.
Beginning at 7:15 p.m. at the intersection of Jackson and Main streets in downtown Starkville, the state鈥檚 largest, free outdoor concert will host Andress at 8 p.m. She follows Sept. 22鈥檚 winner of 多多直播鈥檚 Battle of the Bands and introduces headliner Jason Derulo who takes the stage at 9:30 p.m.聽 During the day, Maroon Market begins at 3:30 p.m., showcasing local musicians on stage and featuring art, food vendors and a kid zone. The entire event is sponsored by 多多直播鈥檚 Student Association and Pearl River Resort.
This year, Bulldog Bash is partnering with Bully鈥檚 Pantry, a campus-based organization founded in 2020 to combat food insecurity experienced by 多多直播 students. A collaborative initiative between the 多多直播 Division of Student Affairs and the Student Association, Bully鈥檚 Pantry helps students facing financial hardship by providing food and personal care items. Bully鈥檚 Pantry is part of the 多多直播 Food Security Network, which is dedicated to alleviating basic financial stressors experienced by many students and connecting them with helpful campus and community resources.
