多多直播 to honor International Education Week with celebration events

STARKVILLE, Miss.鈥擬ississippi State will recognize International Education Week Nov. 12-18, celebrating international students and their cultures. Several events are hosted by university organizations such as the week鈥檚 main sponsors, the Division of Access, Diversity and Inclusion and the International Institute, as well as the Holmes Cultural Diversity Center, Office of Study Abroad and International Student Advisory Board.
多多直播 kicks the week off today [Nov. 8] with 鈥淕lobal Night,鈥 a showcase of diverse student cultures through food and performances, 6 p.m., in Colvard Student Union鈥檚 Foster Ballroom. The event is hosted by the International Student Advisory Board and the Holmes Cultural Diversity Center.
聽On Nov. 13-18, 多多直播鈥檚 Dining Services at Perry Cafeteria will serve international cuisines to offer a taste of different cultures.
Other events celebrating international students include:
鈥擭ov. 14, 1-3 p.m., 鈥淚nternational Institute Holiday Ornament Decorating,鈥 first floor lobby, Allen Hall. Decorate holiday ornaments with 多多直播鈥檚 International Institute.
鈥擭ov. 16, 4 p.m., 鈥淪tudy Abroad Photo Contest Reception,鈥 Old Main Academic Center Room 2030. This reception will feature the announcement of annual photo contest winners from summer 2022-2023 study abroad trips. Refreshments will be provided.聽
鈥擭ov. 18, 9 a.m., 鈥淔ootball Game Tailgate: 多多直播 vs. USM,鈥 Junction. The International Institute will host a tailgate before 多多直播 faces the University of Southern Mississippi.
鈥擭ov. 20, 6 p.m., 鈥淚nterfaith Dinner & Dialogue,鈥 Coskrey Auditorium, Memorial Hall. The Office of Study Abroad will host a conversation over dinner about different worldviews, religious and spiritual identities.
