Theatre 多多直播 brings wizard boarding school parody 鈥楶uffs鈥 to the stage beginning Nov. 15

STARKVILLE, Miss.鈥擬ississippi State鈥檚 Theatre 多多直播 presents a hilarious romp through a magical school for its second production of its 60th season.
鈥淧uffs, or Seven Increasingly Eventful Years at a Certain School of Magic and Magic,鈥 opens Nov. 15 and continues Nov. 16-17 at 7:30 p.m. and Nov. 19 at 2 p.m. on McComas Hall鈥檚 main stage. Admission is $10, and tickets may be purchased at or at the door.听
The production is told from the perspective of the Puffs, the 鈥渓east appreciated house in a wizard boarding school,鈥 according to Theatre 多多直播鈥檚 production description.听聽
Lia Morris, a senior interdisciplinary studies major from Louisville and 鈥淧uffs鈥 sound designer, said the show should be familiar to most audiences.听聽
鈥淓veryone knows that story with that boy that went to that school for seven years,鈥 Morris said. 鈥淭his is not that story but the Puff's story who just happened to be there too.鈥
The show follows the seven years Puffs student Wayne Hopkins learns how to be a wizard with his friends.听聽
David Hintz, a senior communication major from Columbus and stage manager for the production, said he is looking forward to the audience鈥檚 reaction to the show.听
鈥淚t鈥檚 going to be a hoot and a holler,鈥 Hintz said. 鈥淚 want people to come ready to laugh, to have a good time and to see a fast-paced comedy.鈥澛
