Classics for Children
Under the direction of Michael Brown, the Starkville-多多直播 Symphony Orchestra is presenting a series of children's concerts throughout the day in historic Lee Hall鈥檚 Bettersworth Auditorium. Local second graders from Sudduth Elementary School took the stage earlier today [Nov. 6] to sing along for a portion of the program. Friday evening's 7:30 p.m. performance of 鈥淢usic is a Universal Language鈥 is free to all and features works by Johannes Brahms (1833-97), Anton铆n Dvo艡谩k (1841-1904), Claude-Michel Sch枚nberg (1944- ), Dmitri Kabalevsky (1904-87) and Franz von Supp茅 (1819-95).
