A Special Tribute
多多直播 senior kinesiology major Logan Locke of Starkville, a member of 多多直播鈥檚 Army ROTC program, models the special Adidas 鈥淪tatesman鈥 uniform that the 多多直播 football team will wear for its Nov. 17 game against the University of Arkansas. The uniforms pay tribute to 多多直播 alumnus, World War II Veteran and former U.S. Rep. G.V. 鈥淪onny鈥 Montgomery. Unveiled during a press conference Monday [Oct. 29] at the Montgomery Center for America鈥檚 Veterans at Nusz Hall, the uniforms are inspired by the Mississippi Air National Guard C-17 Globemaster III plane named 鈥淭he Spirit of G.V. 鈥楽onny鈥 Montgomery.鈥 Montgomery served in the U.S. House of Representatives from 1967-1997 and was author of the Montgomery G.I. Bill.
